Janice Powers McClean, 79, passed away on January 09, 2026. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late James Milton and Sarah Joyce Garrett Powers and the wife of Steve Allen McClean. She was retired from GMAC and attended New Springs Church.
Survivors also include her two daughters, Denise Blackwell and her husband, Lee and Jodie Swann and her husband, Brett; three step-children, Christopher McClean and his wife, Ashley, Brian McClean and Cherise Dore and her husband, Kevin; eleven grandchildren, Hope Leslie and her husband, Jacob, Bryce Blackwell, Tucker Swann, Grady Swann, Jace Swann, Cadence McClean, Ethan McClean, Brooke Dore, Tyler Dore, Elijah McClean and Isabella McClean; and two great-grandchildren, Cali Leslie and Faith Leslie.
She was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn Powers.
The family will receive friends from 4PM until 6PM on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Stribling Funeral Home. The family will host a private family memorial on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
