In Loving Memory of Janice Kay Morris, 84 of Williamsport Ohio born who passed on February 23, 2026 of natural causes. Janice grew up in Anderson IN, daughter to Hortense E Bryant-Thompson and Robert April Thompson. She graduated from Madison Heights High School, was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow Girls, choir and school musicals, and was voted Miss All Around in her class. She was baptized at the First Methodist Church in Anderson. She had a very full life. She was one of the original founders of A & J Pools in Anderson and worked at Dolenski’s Supper Club in Chesterfield prior to moving to Fort Wayne IN in the late 1980’s where she met her husband, Robert Morris. They shared a beautiful 28-year marriage in Dayton Ohio until his passing in November 2017. Her life focus was on her family, siblings, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She looked forward to every family holiday celebration and would often cook for 20-30 family members. She was famous for her delicious chicken and noodles, and amazing crafting skills. She will be dearly missed by all including her family and dear friend Mary Harris. Leaving behind on her quest to heaven are the following family members brother Robert A Thompson, sister Claudia Bee Thompson Morrell, sister Carol Ann (Frank) Thompson Fasel, son Ronald “Kelly” White, daughter Sandra (Timothy) Staten, daughter Ronda “Kim” Spriggs, 20+ grandchildren, great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband Robert Morris, parents Robert Thompson and Hortense Thompson, stepmother Mildred Thompson, nephew Kevin Thompson, sister Sandra Lee Thompson, brother Frank Thompson, sister Lois (Howard) Ehle, sister-in-law Doris Thompson, grandson Joseph White, sister-in-law Karen (Hurley) Bookout, sister-in-law, Constance Thompson. Private Services will be held this Saturday where she will be laid to rest at Anderson Memorial Cemetery.
