Janice "Jan" Carol Rainey, age 81 of Rose Creek Community, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Morrilton. She was born November 3, 1942 in Rose Creek, Arkansas to the late Hershel Robinson and Ruby Fawbus Robinson. She was a life long member of the Hickory Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Jan was a poultry farmer for Wayne Farms for over 40 years, she loved her children and grandchildren fiercely, and loved her life with Johnny. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Timothy Charles Wells; her first husband, Bobby Charles Wells and a sister, Jean Greene.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Rainey of Rose Creek Community; three children, Terri George (Darrell) of Rose Creek Community, Paula Ashcraft (Kevin) of Morrilton, Bobby Wayne Wells (Terri) of Rose Creek Community and seven grandchildren, Tyler Wells (Marissa), Charleigh Harvey (Lucas), Brittany Seifert (Jarrod), Zach Wells (Alex), Kallie Jo Pack (Chase), Taylor Long (Dakota), Isaac George (Bailee) and sixteen great grandchildren..
Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, January 19, 2024 at Hickory Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Hanna and Rev. Bobby Wayne Wells officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Fitch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Lucas Harvey, Jarrod Seifert, Zach Wells, Isaac George, Hayden Harvey, Cameron Harvey, Dakota Long and Brad Clay.
