She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years: Roy Arthur Smelcer, her parents: Arthur Dot and Ina Grace Myers, and a brother: Bill Myers.
Janice is survived by her daughter: Connie Tweedell (Michael), granddaughter: Savanah Nicole Shamblee, her brothers and sisters-in-law: David Myers (Christine), and Jerry Myers (Kim), a sister: Vida Rogers, her fiancé: Charles Edgemon and his children: Charlene Edgemon and Sandra Edgemon, along with several of her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Ziegler Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at McMinn Memory Gardens with Reverend David Coffman officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
