Janice was known as Nanan by all that loved her. She is best remembered working alongside her husband Gene. Together, they built a thriving cattle ranch. Gene always said that the key to a successful cattle ranch was a praying wife, and Nanan was certainly that. She had a love for working in the garden and canning. She enjoyed sitting in her favorite chair next to Gene with the fireplace burning while listening to the gospel. Her love for her family and her husband was only matched by her love for Jesus and the word of God. She was a devoted Christian and a shining example of how life should be lived. Janice was a member of the Jay Bible Church, where she led singing and taught Sunday school. She also served on the cemetery board for a number of years. She was compassionate, understanding, and loving to everyone that she met. We will miss her with all of our hearts.
