Janice A. Walker

Janice A. Walker, 89, of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Her husband, Jerry D. Walker, passed away in 2021. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late C. Lester and Marion M. (Schubert) Hixson. Janice was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church in Allentown and was a former member St. John's Lutheran Church, their Vestry and Altar Guild in Allentown. She was employed as a Teacher's Aide in the Allentown School District for many years until retiring from her final location at McKinley School. Janice and her husband were active in the William Allen Band Parents and enjoyed entertaining at their home.

Survivors: Daughter, Diane Kichline and her husband, Larry; Son, Scott Walker and his wife, Haidee; Grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Jonathan, Christopher and Hannah; and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a Daughter, Sharon Walker Schreiter in 2002.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, PA 18103. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, in the church. Interment in Jerusalem Western Salisbury Cemetery, Allentown.
