Janine C. (Comunale) Alexander
Age 87 of Turtle Creek, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Owen Alexander; loving mother of Deborah (Daniel) Sargo, Judith McAndrew, Janine (the late Richard) Mains, and Robert (Kathy) Alexander; dear grandmother of Daniel (Cristin), Darren (Stephanie), Derrick (Alyssa), Dustin (Leanna), Thomas (Nicole), the late Brenda (Edgar), Denise, Dennis, Jessica, Jeffrey, Ashley (Keith), and Shane; cherished great-grandmother to 25 great-grandchildren; treasured sister to Cathy (John) Hazard; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her husband, Janine is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Comunale and Rose Comunale; her children, Owen Alexander, III and Rose Ann Boyd; and her siblings, Frank Comunale, III, Mary Ann Annette Painter, and Adelaide Frazier.
Janine worked at Churchill Country Club for over 40 years and later became the manager. In her free time, she loved camping and hiking in the mountains of Clarion, PA, with her husband. Janine loved to cook, and you could always find her at a yard sale. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Colman Church-St. Joseph the Worker Parish on March 27, 2025, at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
