In 1983 when I first came to Beach Haven I was introduced two "the boys club" my boyfriends friends apartment, a hangout, all guys, no one had girlfriends or wives at that time we were only 22 years old, but one shining light came through the door, ALL LAUGHTER AND BLONDE CURLS ...Janine. It was like an angel had come to save me for the winter, and we immediately connected. From then on the memories started as she took me under her wing on an island that still had sand dusted across the blvd, and much fun started. I was very lucky to have her in my life ever since, we always felt Kindred as she did with many I'm sure... but made it a point to have our lunches and heart to heart talks and hugs and tears. Our girls sailed together at the yacht club, and I always got my fish from Morrisons and a few times jumped behind the counter to help her at the market or run into the dining room to grab an order if she was 'in the weeds' She made everyone feel special because SHE was special!!! Janine was larger than life, AND SO WAS HER HEART. I am sure she is making heaven as gracious as her smile and has everyone laughing, Truly A SPECIAL WOMAN ..Live on my dear friend.

I will always remember her infectious laugh and her warmest hugs. She will be so missed. My heart goes out to all who knew her.

I´ll always remember her sincere hugs, her wonderful laugh and her gorgeous eyes. She had beautiful, penetrating eyes that told you everything.. her sadness, her joy or her just happy to see you look.
I´ll never forget her massage sessions.. we´d laugh so hard at our great memories, Jane

It was a bleak night on LBI in February 1975. I was 19 and lived on Ship Bottom at the time. I was sitting in the Port Hoke when these two young ladies (around my age) walked in talking and laughing. The bartender knew J was new to the " Winter Crew" so he introduced me to Janine Enos and Maggie Snyder. We were almost immediate friends planning all kinds of hijinks like a heading to The Stone Pony in Asbury Lark to see her favorite band to dressing up for the infamous Delaware House Halloween Party. We both got married and had babies together
( who are still friends now).
No matter which memory of Janine ( Nini) comes up it is now bittersweet for I cherish them all.. She has left a hole in my heart. I will miss you terribly. Journey on my dear sweet friend. I love you

Janine was known for her contagious smile and warm personality. No matter how much time passed when I last saw her, Janine would always stop to talk and reminisce. Rest in Peace Janine.

Janine and I met early our freshman year at Hollins and we stayed friends through college and beyond. I took many fun trips to Beach Haven and Janine was always the life of the party. It's next to impossible to pick one thing that stands out of our many, many fun times together -- driving all night to Key West for spring break, trips to W & L and UVA, all nighters, skinny dipping... I could go on. A bright light went out on August 14 and she will be greatly missed.
