Janis Mackenna "Jan" Breckel

I met Jan through Chagrin Valley Ski Club on their "Pre-Covid" 2020 Japan Trip. I was one of her roomies. Our other roomie, Maria Lechman was the glue that kept the trio together planning Peak n Peak Ski Days, lunches, coffee house outings, and the annual September Chez Francois Vermillion dinner. We missed you at the Chez this year but reminisced on all our great times together. You were one classy intelligent lady. Thankful for the time I experienced with you in my life.

Jan was very lovely to me early in my career. Will remember her fondly. Sending thoughts and prayers to her family.

So sorry to hear this. While only knowing her since she moved to Avenbury, we shared a love of animals. I helped take care of Shadow when Jan went to Spain. I´m so glad she made that trip. Condolences to her family. Carol Soeder, Buckingham neighbor.
