GOLDEN-- Janis Kay Brown, 70, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born March 19, 1955 to the late Lois Pruitt and the late Jesse Williams Pruitt. Janis took immense pride in her roles as "Mom" and "Mawmaw," always placing her family at the center of her life. Her love, guidance, and warm presence created a legacy of strength and compassion that will live on through her son, grandchildren, and all who knew her.
