Janna Faith Hager, 87, of

Nashville, Tennessee, and lived a life marked by compassion, creativity, and deep faith.
She worked as a nurse, a florist and wedding designer, and later as a childcare provider, touching countless lives through her care, kindness, and artistic spirit. She especially enjoyed making jewelry, a hobby that reflected her creativity and the joy she found in creating things for others.

Janna was also a gifted writer and the author of His Blessed Assurance: Stories from a Life Lived Through the Grace and Love of Our Heavenly Father. In her book, she shared her deeply personal journey of faith-how she overcame life's hardships, including illness, heartbreak, and the challenges of raising their three sons, by turning to God. Her words reflected her unwavering belief that God is present in every moment of life, answering prayers both spoken and unspoken. She wrote of the strength, courage, and healing she found in her relationship with Jesus Christ, and her desire was to help others come to know Him personally. Her testimony continues to inspire and encourage all who read it.
Janna was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Travis T. Hager; her son, Jay Hager; her parents, Alberta and Leslie Gilpin; and her brothers, Jack Gilpin and Harold Gilpin.
She is survived by her sons, Mike Hager of Tampa, Florida, and Mark (Wendi) Hager of Morrow, Ohio; her daughter (in-law), Jenni Hager of
Ocala, Florida; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Alberta Sue Epperly, Georgina Gilpin Cooper, and Larnelle C. Gilpin.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Life Care Center of Ocala for the exceptional care, compassion, and dignity they showed Janna during her time there. The staff not only cared for her physical needs but also provided comfort, kindness, and genuine love to both Janna and her family. Their support during this time meant more than words can express, and they will always be remembered with deep appreciation.
