Jared Hull Sr.

Jared Hull Sr., a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine, passed peacefully at the Bailey Family Center for Caring and went to join his Heavenly Father at the age of 78, on Friday, September 29, 2023. Jared was a beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Jared began his first job at the age of 9 delivering papers for the Grit Newspaper. After graduating from St. Augustine High School, he worked at Winn Dixie and later began a career at Gulf Life Insurance Company (American General) where he spent 38 years as a company salesman and was referred to by his many customers as the "Local Agitator".
Jared was a faithful man previously active in his local church and was a Master Mason of Ashlar Lodge # 98 before enduring life changing physical events, but he never lost faith.
Jared was always a hardworking man, a people person and role model father where he demonstrated loving consistency, discipline, and unconditional acceptance. He enjoyed fun days at the beach with his children, catching mullet on St. Augustine Beach and taking long rides on the weekend with Priscilla and close friends. Jared would come to any family member's aide without a second thought to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed talking like Donald Duck and was considered the "favorite uncle". He is most remembered as always giving loving support, encouragement, and forgiveness.
He is survived by his wife Priscilla Hull; children Reena Stratton, Misty Lake (Ray) and Jared Hull Jr (Charlotte); sisters Rosemary Cuthrell and Jeanette Hull; two stepchildren Jimmy Bolton and Tonya Erickson (Bruce); grandchildren Paul Stratton, Anthony Triay, Jared Hull III, Sarah Triay, Josh and Racheal Hull and Samantha Schena: great grandchildren Braxtyn, Emylia, and Atticus; brother and sister in-law Robert and Glenda Frawley and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Geneva and George Hull and brothers: Ellis, Herbert, Henery, Jody Hull Sr., Patty Bolton, and nephew Jody Hull Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Craig Memorial Park with Dr. Clarence Blalock officiating.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
