Jared Rennick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ruggiero Family Memorial Home - North Shore Chapel on Jan. 12, 2026.
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jared Shawn Rennick, age 44, of Peabody, after a lengthy stay in the hospital.
Jared is survived by his parents, Edward and Patricia Rennick of Peabody; his children, Meileigh Grace (8), Jayce Shawn (13), and Freyja-Leah (3); and his daughters' sister, Jaimie. He is also survived by his brother Nathan and Nathan's longtime girlfriend Marjorie; Clinten and his two sons, Austin and Jaxson; Spencer, his wife Christin, and their daughters Ainsley, Charlotte, and Adrienne; and Edward III and his son Preston. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Sue Burke, Terry Marchand, and Mary Janice Burke, who helped tremendously. He was predeceased by his baby brother, Brian.
Jared was a talented artist who won many awards, beginning as early as second grade and continuing most recently in Boston. He was also a skilled tattoo artist and carpenter who took great pride in his work.
He was deeply religious and recited the Our Father with his daughter Meileigh each night. He always wore his cross and blessed himself every time he passed a church.
In his younger days, Jared enjoyed skiing and playing sports with his brothers. He loved playing in the snow with his daughter and especially cherished trips to the beach with his daughters, nieces, and nephews. They would fly kites, catch crabs, draw in the sand, and jump the waves. Another favorite place was the zoo. Jared loved all animals and always seemed to bring home a new pet-turtles, geckos, kittens, and more.
Jared will truly be missed. Rest in peace, Jared.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a local organization that supports those who are struggling or less fortunate. Prayers are always appreciated.
Family and friends will honor Jared's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home North Shore, on Friday, January 16th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM for a funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody. Please meet directly at church. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Jared, please visit our floral store.
