Jared Roberts Obituary
Published by Legacy on Mar. 16, 2026.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jared Raymond Roberts. Jared was born September 29, 1976 to Bruce and Beverly Linford Roberts. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jared grew up in North Ogden. He was active in scouting and earned his eagle scout award. He also loved to play football and excelled at it. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1995.
Jared met and then married Michelle Hutchinson April 18, 1998. They had two beautiful boys together, Andon Jared and Trevin Raymond. Jared and Michelle later divorced after 22 years but remained best friends and loving parents to their boys. Team Roberts always remained.
He was a journeyman plumber for the majority of his career where he met some of his best friends. For more than ten years he worked for the University of Utah as a project foreman.
Jared was the most amazing father. He loved his boys beyond measure. He enjoyed his time coaching, snowboarding, and golfing with the boys. He taught them countless things like how to make the best steaks, but one of the most incredible things he taught them was how to have fun and live life. Jared had a great love of adventure including sky diving, driving his Rzr, four wheelers and dirt bikes at the dunes and in the mountains. He loved the outdoors. Running Adam's canyon was one of his favorite ways to get his exercise in and be one with nature.
Jared met Baylee in November 2022 at the University of Utah. Jared and Baylee discovered a love for travel and had many adventures and memories. They found their favorite place to be in Maui, Hawaii, and the island vibe. He shared his love of skydiving with Baylee. Jared had a special place in his stepdaughter Rylee's heart who was glued to his hip. He endured having her put him to bed, her painting his nails and many hairstyles.
Jared's unconditional love was felt beyond measure and will continue to be honored by all of those who knew and loved him.
Jared is survived by his sons Andon and Trevin, his parenting partner Michelle, his father Bruce, his fiancée Baylee Barnes and his stepdaughter Rylee, his sister Shantel (Glen) Urry, his brothers, Bart Roberts, Luke (Brenda) Roberts and Ren (Roxy) Roberts and his sister in law Jessica Roberts. His stepbrother Michael (Jess) Lee, his stepsisters Mindy (Stan) Simmons, Jamie (James) Merrill and Brittany Johnson. He had many nieces and nephews he loved immensely. He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly, his brother Blake and his stepmother Katie as well as his many grandparents. We can only imagine the loving reunion they are having.
"Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high"
We love you. Until we meet again.
A graveside service will be held at the Uintah City cemetery, 1500 E. 6450 S. Uintah on Saturday, March 21 at 11:00 am.
