Jaren Lea Taylor

Jaren Lea Taylor, 71, of Rosendale, MO passed away Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025 peacefully in her home surrounded by family, outside of Rosendale. She was born November 12, 1954 to Billy Lee & Betty Jean (Lance) Hewitt. She married Lonnie Taylor on July 20, 1974 in Rosendale, MO and he survives of the home.

Jaren was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She adored her family and was highly active in their lives. She was a member of the Rosendale Garden Club and the Rosendale Christian Church. She worked at the bank for 50 years, retiring in December 2022. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and family, working puzzles, reading books, gardening, and playing games with her family. She never knew a stranger and was welcoming to all. Jaren was loved by all who knew her and will be missed dearly.

Jaren is preceded in death by her father, Billy Hewitt, and sister, Janell Hewitt.

Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Taylor, mother, Betty Hewitt; children, Melissa (Michael) Williams of Fillmore, MO, Cale (RaeLee) Taylor of Rosendale, MO; siblings, Joette (Steve) Polsgrove of St. Joseph, MO, and Jay Hewitt of Rosendale, MO; grandchildren, Riley Williams, Raegan (Kale) Mueller, and Jillian Taylor; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Berkleigh, and Kase; and a large extended family.

Visitation and family Receiving hours will be 5:00pm-7:00pm Friday December 5, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah MO. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday December 6, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral services at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph MO.
