Jarin "Boo" Reggie Wolfley
October 25, 1978 – September 24, 2025
Jarin Reggie Wolfley, lovingly known to family and friends as "Boo," passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was 46 years old.
Born on October 25, 1978 in Salmon, Idaho, Jarin was the sixth of ten children born to his loving parents. He grew up in a bustling home filled with laughter, sports, and deep family bonds. Jarin graduated from Rich High School in Randolph, Utah in 1996, where he was a proud member of the Rich Rebels football team. Known for his fierce tackles and competitive spirit, he helped lead the Rebels to three consecutive state championships, earning a reputation for "hitting like a monster" on the field.
From 1999 to 2001, Jarin joyfully served an honorable two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dallas, Texas. His love for people and his unwavering faith shone brightly as he shared hope and kindness with everyone he met.
Following his mission, Jarin built a successful career with Irwin Seating Company, traveling across the country as a technician installing grand stadium seating in venues such as the Minnesota Vikings' stadium and the Marriott Center at BYU. He took great pride in his work, knowing his efforts would be enjoyed by thousands for years to come. He married Megan Nelson on February 7, 2009-2024 and they had three beautiful girls together.
Jarin lived life with an open heart and an infectious enthusiasm. He loved snowmobiling, skiing, watching and playing football, and spending time with his brothers, whom he adored, and his sisters, whom he lovingly teased. He was always the first to show up for a party, quick with a joke to make others laugh, and passionate about supporting local school sports. Jarin found great joy in serving others. He often said that serving not only made him happy, but gave his life purpose.
But above all, Jarin's greatest joy and deepest devotion was reserved for his three beloved daughters, Cloey, Carmen, and Caitlyn who were the absolute loves of his life, and he cherished every moment of being their father-a role he took seriously and loved fiercely. He delighted in shopping with them and for them, taking them on outings, and simply spending time together. Jarin loved them more than life itself, and his heart was happiest when he was making memories with his girls.
In February 2024, Jarin was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Though the journey was difficult, he faced each day with courage, faith, and gratitude. Choosing to embrace life fully, he retired early and created the personal motto by which he lived his remaining days: "Live Well and Love Life."
Jarin is survived by his three beloved daughters, Cloey (18), Carmen (15), and Caitlyn (13); his mother, Kay; and his nine siblings: Jody (Heather), Heath (Kaycee) Lance (Milisa), Triffini (Brian), Cameron (Michelle),Yvette, Treva (Matt), Chelsi (Jason), and Veronica (Shane). He was preceded in death by his father, Kim Wolfley.
His love, laughter, and example of service will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Funeral services for Jarin will be held Friday, October 3rd in the Draper LDS meeting house, with a viewing from 9-10:30 a.m. and the funeral at 11:00a.m-noon at the location of 1617 E 12700 S Draper, Utah 84020. A graveside service will be held that afternoon at the Ben Lomond cemetery 526 E 2850 N North Ogden,UT 84414.
Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor a life beautifully lived.
