Jarold L. Young

Jarold Lynn Young of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 73.

Jarold was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Norma Young and Merle Young on December 7, 1951. He lived at home with his mother and brother until she passed, then he was a resident at facilities supported by Mission Road Ministries until his passing.

Jarold was a gentle soul whose quiet presence spoke volumes. He listened deeply and connected with others through kindness, warmth, and an ever-present smile. He loved his family and his friends at Mission Road wholeheartedly, showing his affection through selfless acts and thoughtful gifts, even when he had little to give. His generosity, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Jarold is survived by his sister Doris (Randy) Isennock of Casper, Wyoming and his half brother Herman (Marietta) Young of Richardson, Texas. His family included many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers David Young and Ronnie (Barbara) Young.

The funeral service for Jarold will be held at Mission Park South on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., with Dan Hicks officiating. Visitation will be before the service at 11:00 a.m.
