I think often of Jaro's visit to Michigan and the time he spent with us. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you, Kristina, and with the children. Go with God. My love to you at this sorrowful time.

upon,"the God of comfort"(2Corinthians 1:3,4) help you to endure the emptiness you are presently experiencing. I did not personally know your Jaroslav,I read his obituary and hope it brings you a measure of comfort knowing that oyhers care about your loss.

My condolences to Mr. Jirik's family and his friends. Following hockey all of my life, I remember the importance of him being able to leave the communist block country to play in the U.S. He was a great right winger and a hero to anyone who played or wached hockey back then. An athelet in all respects..He will be greatly missed. But he will always be remembered.
