Brandon was an incredible person in that he was able to see the bright side of things even when it was really hard. I first met Brandon when I started working at the same company last year and he made me feel so welcome and was always willing and able to do everything he could to help me adjust to the new environment. No matter how difficult work got or the deadlines and setbacks we faced, Brandon would always be able to smile and laugh and make the atmosphere warmer for everyone. Even outside of work we would talk about our shared love of video games and our past experiences, which was always a delight. Brandon was a mentor to so many people and I am so honored to call him my friend. I will miss him dearly and I will never forget the impact he had on me.

Brandon was my mentor. He was my friend. We had lunch plans the week of his passing. We often joked about our outlooks on life and the possibilities/timelines of the work that we did. He was the optimist and I was the pessimist, but through interacting with him I grew to find that his optimism was starting to rub off on me and I was beginning to share his enthusiasm for what could be possible in the work that we did. He was a light in a very dark world. A true treasure. I will miss him as I´m sure you do ten fold. Thank you for sharing Brandon with me for the year I knew him. He changed my life for the better
