Jarrod Peacock, 51, passed away September 25, 2025, at Gulf Coast Hospital. He was born on March 30, 1974, to Bruce and Margaretlyn Revel Peacock.

Jarrod was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and loved his town. He was always ready for an adventure, especially if it involved a sweet treat at the end. He deeply enjoyed music, coffee, cake, WWE, the beach, scary movies, Halloween, and spending time with his friends. He loved to help everyone! He had the biggest smile and loved to spread joy. Jarrod loved his work in horticulture at JCARC as well as all of his friends there. Jarrod spent the most recent years enjoying time with his friends who became family at the Christmas Group Home. To know him was to love him.

He was preceded in death by his uncles and aunts, Ladone Peacock and Willie Paul Peacock, Nettiell Peacock Smith, Carlette Peacock.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Margaretlyn Peacock; sister, Paula Powell; aunts, Phyllis Chumley (James), Nellie Riley, Johnnie Roberts; uncle, Jim Peacock (Donna); nephew, Hunter Powell. 

Funeral service will be 10 AM, Thursday, October 2, 2025, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Victoria Scofield officiating. Burial will follow in Mill Springs Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

Visitation will take place an hour prior to the funeral service at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
