Jasmine Paris DeGroat

Jasmine Paris DeGroat, 30, of East Stroudsburg and Brooklyn, NY, died suddenly on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
Born on May 28, 1992 in East Stroudsburg, she was a Senior Manager of Development for Paramont Studios and CBS in Manhattan, New York.
Jasmine graduated from East Stroudsburg High School South where she was a cheerleader. Her advanced placement classes led to a full academic scholorship at Syracuse University, where she graduated from the Newhouse School of Public Communications.
She is survived by her mother, Jill Christine (DeGroat) Banks of Cleveland, Ohio; four siblings, Otis Jr., Olivia, Jade and Janay Banks; a nephew, Chaz "Papito" (son of Olivia).
She is also survived by her father, Elisio Paris-Peters of Puerto Rico and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jasmine is survived by Uncle, Jason Carlyle DeGroat and daughter Amber; grandparents "Mamma" and "Papa Joe"; two great-grandmothers, Isabel Noriega of McLean, VA and Diana DeGroat of Hillburn, NY; four cousins whom she considered like sisters, Monet, Raquel, Camile and Rriel and their children who called her "Titi Jasmine".
Several wonderful loving aunts and uncles; many more cousins; and Jasmine's beloved cat, Drizzy, which she treated as her own child.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 15th at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with viewing beginning at 1:00PM followed by the funeral service at 4:00PM.
