Our deepest sympathies go out to all of Jason's friends and family during this very difficult time. Jason had been a member of our pool-playing family since 2005 and he will be greatly missed by us all! Looking at his photo reminded us of his father, Nelson, who was also a past member of our family before he passed about ten years ago. They are now joined together again.

What do you say at a time like this? No words can ease the pain and sense of loss that you feel inside. As I reflect on the time that I knew Jason I am most appreciative of the memories that I have of him. His desire to be a better person. His constant encouragement, his smile and the way that he engraved his place on my heart. A part of him will always be with me and I can only thank God for sharing him with us if only for a short period of time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May you gather strength in knowing that he was loved by many and we share in your loss.

Dear Jason,
I never got to say bye to you; this was so sudden and unexpected. I am still in both shock and denial that you are gone. What hurts the most is since I've been away at college, I haven't seen you since Christmas. And I never said I love you. And I never thanked you. You were the big brother that I never had. I could talk to you about anything. And you always told me "I've been there, done that. Don't do it." And like a stubborn kid, sometimes I would listen, and sometimes I wouldn't. But I can say that every time I didn't listen, you were right. When I was little, you would play with me when I was bored. And when I got hurt, you would carry me inside to grandma so she could take care of me. You were such a good person, and I love you and miss you dearly.
Love Always,
your niece

The Bible makes it clear that God didnt originally intend for humans to die. "The rightious themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."- Psalms 37:29. When I had a person I loved die I found comfort in reading the Bible. Austin
