Jason Lewis Carrasco, age 51 of Portales, passed from this life on September 7, 2023 in Portales.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Steed Todd Funeral Home in Clovis. A private service will be held for family only. Burial will take place at a later date in Portales.
Jason was born on September 6, 1972 in Lovington, New Mexico to Julian Ramirez Carrasco and Isabel Dominga (Lopez) Carrasco. He loved music and was a drummer. He lived life and loved his family.
Jason was preceded in death by his parents Julian and Isabel Carrasco, siblings Julian Jr. Carrasco and Amelia Dina Carrasco.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his children Luis Villanueva Carrasco, Jasmin Carrasco, Miguel Carrasco, Marisela Carrasco and Maite Carrasco, all of Portales; siblings Martina Lopez of Odessa, Delfina Carrasco of Greeley, CO, Steve Carrasco of Portales, Sandy Torres of Teague, TX, Christina Carrasco and Johnny Carrasco of Odessa, TX; and grandchildren Armoni Carrasco, Kayvon Carrasco, Ezra Carrasco, Emersyn Carrasco and EliSandra Ortega, all of Portales: and numerous friends and extended family.
