Jason Edward Carter

Jason Edward Carter, 45, of Verdunville, WV, departed this life on December 13, 2022 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 6, 1977 in Logan, WV, the son of Charles Clinton & Wilma Carter of Verdunville, WV.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mathew & Edna Carter and Randle & Ann Adams and one niece, Ashley Ferguson.
Jason enjoyed playing video games, going on vacations, four-wheeler riding, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends. He loved working on his house and his wife Angela with all his heart.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Angela Carter; his only sister, Donna Ferguson and her husband, Roger; sister-in-law, Lisa Lowe and her husband, Derick; brother-in-law, Jason (Lisa) Ferguson; nephews, Corey Ferguson, Jonathon Ferguson and his wife Makhayla, Shane Lowe (Wynter Hardesty), Drake Lowe (Vanna Poling); his father and mother-in-law, Kennith & Clara Ferguson; and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00am, Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church with Pastor Sid Stroud and Elder Dave Messer officiating. Burial will follow at the Ferguson Cemetery, East Fork of Twelve Pole, Dingess, WV.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022 beginning at 5:00pm at the church.
Pallbearers will be Roger Ferguson, Jason Ferguson, Jonathon Ferguson, Corey Ferguson, Derrick Lowe, Drake Lowe, Shane Lowe, and Dennis Carter.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
