Jason was my direct report & dear friend at Metabolic. This picture was snapped when he drove to the top peak of a mountain (in the snow) to meet me & my husband
in-person for the very first time. That is the type of person Jason is. He would climb & move mountains for people. Always. His heart was gold. Thank you for taking a chance on me 4 years ago Jason. You will FOREVER be my most favorite leader to work for & with.
It was an honor sir.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my friend, Jason T. Collett. He was an incredibly positive individual whom I had the honor of knowing and traveling the world with for a year. I will always remember the time when we arrived at his home while traveling with UP WITH PEOPLE CAST A 90, and he ran straight into the water, fully clothed, with the biggest smile on his face.
Describing Jason as an entrepreneur would be an understatement; he was a BIG idea person even from a young age. Be it opening a brewery, crewing on sailboats, leading talks to inspire others, and so much more, he lived life to the fullest.
My heart goes out to each and every one of you who loved Jason so very much.

Jason and I had a lot of great times together. I think the ski trip to Colorado for Christmas break was perhaps my favorite. He was always generous and adventurous. He will be sorely missed.

Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I went to school with Jason's folks, and met Jan and Bert after we moved to Michigan.
Take care and keep the good memories close to your hearts.

Having had only one year of interaction with Jason (1990-1991 with Up With People Cast A), I can say he was a humorous, kind, and intentional man. Prayers to family and friends. May many happy memories bring smiles and comfort.

Words cannot begin to express this tremendous loss of my friend, colleague and mentor. Jason meant the world to me ....his immense kindness, selflessness and authenticity, brought out the best in so many people. I remember a first chance meeting with Jason at Schneider National in which I started working with him which also brought me to Bank of America to be on his team. My life has been forever changed because of Jason. Michelle, Nathan, Alexandria and Samantha, may memories of this wonderful gift to the world, and time spent with him, bring you comfort.
