It is with deep sadness that we announce Jason Dakota Collins, 29, of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away on August 5, 2025.
Jason was a great man, fiancé, and an even better father. He was also a great son and brother of which we were so very proud of.
Jason is survived by his fiancé, Lakin Girdner; daughter, Daphne Collins; his father and stepmom, Jason and Michelle Collins; his mother and stepfather, Jody and Randy Weldon; sister, Haley Weldon; brothers, Brandon and Kaleb Collins; grandparents, Steve and Janet Mount, Rodger and Donna Sutherland, and Clay Collins.
Jason was an amazing guitarist who loved music and drawing art, as well as his love of classic cars and working on them as well. His greatest passion was spending time with his girls, Lakin and Daphne.
Jason left us way too soon but the way he loved, laughed, and cared, will always be felt in our hearts. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 14, 2025, 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Hart Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2025, 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.
