Obituary published on Legacy.com by Earle Funeral Home - Blackwood on Feb. 25, 2026.
Jason A. Farr, a beacon of generosity and love, left this world on February 23, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on December 7, 1979, in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jason's journey through life was marked by an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community. He passed away in his home in Deptford Twp, New Jersey, after a courageous battle with leukemia, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family.
Jason's life was a testament to the power of selflessness. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Colleen Farr (nee Simpson), and a doting father to his daughters, Allison and Rachel Farr. His parents, William and Teresa Brooke, instilled in him the values of kindness and compassion which he carried throughout his life. Jason's brothers, Alex Brooke (Jeannine) and Josh Brooke (Carly), shared in the joys and challenges of life with him, and together they created a bond that was unbreakable. His parents-in-law, Jack and Carolyn Simpson, along with his brother-in-law, Joe Simpson (Marie), and his nieces and nephews, Michaela DiVenti, Jack Simpson, Lincoln Brooke, and Kade Brooke, all held a special place in his heart. His beloved dog, Milo, was a constant companion and source of joy.
Professionally, Jason was a respected Union Foreman at Henkels & McCoy, where his dedication and work ethic were evident to all who worked alongside him. His colleagues not only admired him for his professional abilities but also cherished him for his camaraderie and unwavering support.
Jason's life was a celebration of the things he loved. An avid Eagles fan, he relished the excitement of the game and the camaraderie of his 'Eagles' trips with friends. His enthusiasm extended to the Flyers and Phillies, making him a true Philadelphia sports aficionado. But above all, Jason was a 'girl dad' through and through. His love for his daughters was the cornerstone of his existence, and every moment spent with them was a treasure.
Known as everybody's friend, Jason's generosity knew no bounds. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. His presence was a source of comfort and strength to those around him. For Jason, time spent with friends and family wasn't just time passed; it was time invested in the people he loved.
As we remember Jason, we are reminded of the impact one individual can have on the world. His legacy is one of love, selflessness, and generosity. It is a legacy that will continue to inspire and motivate all who had the privilege of knowing him. This coming October would have marked the 25th wedding anniversary of Colleen and Jason-a milestone that speaks volumes about their enduring love and partnership.
Jason A. Farr's life was a bright light that shone on all he encountered. As we celebrate his life, let us carry forward the lessons he taught us: to love without reservation, to give without expecting anything in return, and to cherish every moment with those we hold dear. Jason's spirit will forever be a guiding force in the lives of those he touched.
The visitation for Jason is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St.,
