Jason John Giamarino passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2025.
Jason was a free spirit who marched to the beat of his own drum. He was a good-natured soul who tried his best. He loved to cook. He also enjoyed heavy metal music to the likes of Ozzie Osbourne and Metallica. He was a science fiction fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, and Game of Thrones.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was proceeded in death by his Great Uncle Andrew Sanazaro Sr. and Great Aunt Betty Sanazaro. Great Grandparents, Julius and Esther Sanazaro, Grand-parents, Joseph and Virginia Petralia and Uncle Joe Petralia.
He is survived by his mother, Diane Sanazaro of Kirkwood Mo, Sister Dina (Christopher) Swift of St Ann, Niece Haley Swift of St Ann, Aunts; Sr. Gloria Petralia SSND of Washington Mo, Carla (Frank) Gianino of St Louis, cousins Alissa Gianino and Alex Gianino of St Louis. Many loving cousins of the Sanazaro and Moreland Families: Christy Moreland, and the Moreland family, Andy Sanazaro Jr., Nick Sanazaro, Carolyn Sanazaro, Dan Sanazaro and their respective families.
A private funeral mass was held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 12 Noon. His cremated remains were then placed into the columbarium niches at Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery.
