Jason Curtis Hobbs

Jason Curtis Hobbs, born on September 5, 1979, in Richlands, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 45. Jason is celebrated as a devoted family man of great integrity.

Service will be held at Christian Community Church located at 732 Nine Mile Road Richlands, NC on Monday August 18, 2025 at 2:00pm.

The family will receive friends starting from 1:00pm until the time of the service.

Jason graduated from Richlands High School, laying the foundation for a diverse and dedicated career. Known to many as a passionate perfectionist and a jack of all trades, he applied these traits throughout his diverse career. He worked for the Department of Transportation and later became a skilled lineman. For 16 years, Jason owned and operated a successful home building business, where he combined his professional expertise with his love for carpentry and his community.

Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Aleshia Davis Hobbs; his cherished children, Hailey Breanne Hobbs, Madison Brooke Hobbs, and Joshua Eugene Hobbs; and his parents, Curtis and Beverly Hobbs. He is also survived by his sister, Clarissa Pearce, as well as his niece Kelsy Quijano and her husband Marc Quijano, great-nephews Jaxon and Luca Quijano, and great-niece Nellie Quijano of Tucson, AZ; nieces Kaitlyn Pearce, and Karlee Carter; nephews Cameron Pearce and Carson Carter. Additionally, he leaves behind his father-in-law Anthony Davis, mother-in-law Kimberly Davis, and brother-in-law Joseph Davis and his wife Magan Davis.

Jason's life was marked by his commitment to his family and his work, his ability to tackle any challenge, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved. His presence will be deeply missed but warmly remembered by all who knew him.
