Jason Hurt Obituary
Jason will be dearly missed by his mom, Vicki Hurt; daughter, Jacey Hurt; fiancé, Michelle Goar; brothers, Tony (Sloan) Hurt, Blaine Hurt & Family, and Scott (Kim) Pike; sister, Ann (David) Ashley; honorary daughters, Laila McLeod and Jerrica Dodge; honorary son, Zachary Masters; honorary grandson, Dutten Masters; special nieces, Abby Morton and Erica Hurt and several other nieces and nephews; aunt, Anna Stapleton; mother of his daughter, Jodi Dolliver; and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles D. Hurt; uncles, Pete Stapleton and Billy Sloan; maternal grandparents, James and Sibby Runyon; and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Martha Sloan.
The visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday, January 15, 2024 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor John Hackney will officiate. Memorial contributions in Jason's name may be gifted to the National Kidney Foundation. Services have been entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.

At a time where i was down, and i hadnt seen jason in a few years. He showed up at my door with a big smile on his and gave me a big hug told me that he'd always be here for me always. Jason was a great,loyal friend. He was like family. Ive know jason my whole life. I hope hes up there with chad . Rest easy my friend. Rest easy.

Jason didnt know a stranger and treated me as good as a queen ! We would go a year or two without seeing one another but when we were reunited you wouldnt know anytime has passed ! I hate that god wanted you home, he sure got one heck of an amazing person! Jason be in my heart forever always.

Jason would light up any room he entered. I had honor, privilege of calling Jason a dear friend, and Brother. My folks loved him to the moon and back. My father had so many deep conversations. And he just didn't warm up to everyone, Jason had a special way and connection when meeting speaking to People. Jason we love and miss you terribly. We both send our deep hearted condolences . God Bless you and Family.
