Jason Castillo Martinez

Jason Castillo Martinez, age 42, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at home, with family by his side.
He was born September 12, 1981, son of the late Gloria Martinez, and went to school in Deckerville, MI.
Jason was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and served during Operation Iraqi Freedom for almost 3 years, specializing in 08M10 Motor Transport OP.
He had a love for authentic cooking, listening to and creating his own music, fishing, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, along with several other outdoor activities, and most of all enjoyed involving and teaching his children these hobbies as well.
He is survived by his wife Angela Martinez, his three children, Jeremiah, Juleah, and Miguel; four brothers, Juan Martinez, Fran (Pancho)/Kristy Martinez, Fred/Amy Martinez, Ramiro (BeBe) Martinez/Kelly his girlfriend; two sisters, Nancy/Pat Patten, and Jennifer Martinez/Mike Govea. Also cared for deeply by his niece and caregiver Courtney Martinez, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Martinez and stepson Mason Gorman.
His ashes and funeral ceremony upon his final wishes, will be placed at the Veterans Memorial Wall at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
