Jason Andrew McElhaney was born July 28th, 1973, to Sue and Rodney McElhaney at St. Vincent Hospital. He went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2026. Jason McElhaney was a fisherman at heart, electrician in trade, and a loving husband and father in life. He loved to play pool, watch football, spend time with his dogs, and did I mention fishing yet? Oh, okay. Just checking. Laughter and most likely trouble followed him throughout his entire life, even while he was fighting cancer. He stayed strong and fought the hard battle until he no longer could.
Jason is preceded in death by his wife, Bridget McElhaney and his father Rodney McElhaney, among other family. He is survived by his daughter, Ariel Le (Jakob Le), his mother Sue McElhaney, siblings Jennifer Johnson, Michael McElhaney, Marcy McElhaney, Mandy Anderson, and Matt McElhaney; his many nieces and nephews that he cherished deeply, and his brother in heart Jeff Wilson.
The visitation will be held at 1pm, the funeral at 2pm on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas, with burial in 16th Section Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.smithfamilycares.com
