Jason Ort Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home - Camdenton on Dec. 21, 2025.
Jason Alan Ort, of Linn Creek, Missouri, born July 30, 1975 passed away on December 20, 2025 at the young age of 50. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jason was a man of strong character, a kind heart, and an honest soul, a true mamas boy at heart. He found joy in drag racing and could often be found talking cars, engines, and speed with anyone who shared his passion. He also had a well known talent for taking people's money at the poker table-always with a grin and usually a good story to go with it. More than anything, he adored his grandbabies, who were the center of his world and brought him endless pride and happiness.

As the owner of Jim's Pro Auto, Jason was widely known for his honesty, fairness, and integrity. People trusted him-not just with their vehicles, but because they knew he would always do the right thing. His business was built on hard work, respect, and treating people right.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Ort and life long best friends Jason Jamison and David Ronkoski. Jason is survived by his mother, Mary Ahl and stepfather Robert Ahl of Linn Creek, MO; daughter Samantha Ort of Camdenton, MO; sister Tara Robbins of Lebanon, MO; nephew Cody Parsons of Lebanon, MO; niece Haley Kelm of Lebanon, MO; and his three cherished grandchildren, Elijah, Greyson, and Espen-lovingly known as his little sports center.

Jason's legacy lives on through the family he loved, the values he stood for, and the many lives he touched. He will be remembered for his generosity, dedication, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met.

A celebration of life will be held on January 2, 2025 from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.

Jason's greatest joy was time spent with his grandbabies, whose laughter meant everything to him. When he wasn't with family, he was happiest at the track, feeling the roar of engines and the thrill of drag racing-something that never left his soul. These moments defined him, and his memory will live on in every life he touched.
