I met Jason at Beecher Elementary, and we became friends, spending time together throughout my early years. Earlier this month he reached out to me, and it had probably been around ten years since we last spoke. Just a few days later, I heard the heartbreaking news that he had passed away.

Jason had a kind spirit and a special way about him that´s hard to put into words. My deepest condolences go out to his entire family. He will be missed dearly.

I had even been planning a trip to come see him once I got back from deployment. Jason, if you can somehow hear me or see this, rest in peace, my brother. Thank you for showing me a different perspective on life when we were young. I´ll never forget that.
