Special online condolences for family and friends may be expressed at http://www.jcbattleandsonsfuneralhome.com His life story: Jason Leigh Joseph Reed burst into this world on July 7, 1982 and was the baby of the children of Jimmy and Eileen Reed. Through his short life, Jason managed to take us all on many \"adventures\". His love was music and he loved all kinds - from opera to hip-hop to R&B. There was rarely a time when you didn't find him with his earphones, lip syncing or tapping to whatever tune was on. His laugh was infectious, his hugs were memorable and he was definitely a jokester with young and old alike. Jason graduated ON TIME from Withrow High School and was a Tiger like his Dad. His utter love of music and music production led him to Cincinnati State where he earned an Associates Degree in audio visual production. He built a studio in his basement that allowed him to create the sounds that he loved best. His life changed with the birth of his son, Jaden. Jason was dedicated to him. His life partner, Misty and he celebrated the birth of Damien soon thereafter. And within the next couple of weeks, we will welcome baby Malcolm into the Reed family. Jason was loved deeply by his peers, both within the family and without. He always responded to those in need and would typically make sure that they were well cared for, even when that meant opening up his and Misty's home. He loved his entire family fiercely, especially his grandparents with whom he and Misty lived and cared for until they passed. He was always thankful for the love and guidance provided by his parents and let them know that frequently. He left, in his family's loving arms, his life partner, Misty, and his sons Jaden(Stella), Damien and soon to be born Malcolm. We will all miss his smile.
