Dear JoAnne, Chuckie, Heidi, Taylor, Reese, Drew and Family,
Jason was an extraordinary young man who continued to be an extraordinary person! I remember our winters in Florida and Jason driving your Cigarette boat and the fun days at Turnberry! Jason was a role model to my kids, Billy and Lindsay! He will be missed! Hugs and Loves to all you on your devastating loss!
XOXO

To Heidi, Chuck and JoAnne - and your extended families,
I was so shocked and sad to read the news on Heidi´s Facebook page tonight. I have many memories of little towheaded Jason at the Shapiro home from back when I used to play there with Heidi ages ago. I have followed Heidi`s page over the last many years, and I can see how close knit your family has remained. I am so deeply sorry for this immeasurable loss, and I am sending my deepest condolences. May Jason´s memory be a blessing to all of you.

My goodness. We just heard the news today. Otherwise we would have come to pay our respects.

We had the pleasure of meeting Jason some 4-5 years ago through softball.
A social butterfly indeed!!
Very funny and kind.

The Ultimate protector of his daughter Reese. We could be in the middle of a conversation or group of dads hanging out...
But, if Reese called...Jason would jump to her needs-priority one! That was one of the first traits I noticed about Jason.
I admired that warrior protector-instinct he had.

Resting in peace friend.

There is so much about Jason I remember, from the time he was a baby, through the present. I know how devoted he was to his girls and he definitely got his family values from his parents, who loved him so.
I send my deepest condolences during this rough time and hugs to each family member. With love, Judy Berlin

I am so sorry, my sincerest condolences to the entire family. Jason is a legend and I will always love him. Some of my fondest childhood memories take place in Jason´s home growing up. He was one of my closest friends and although we didn´t stay as closely in touch as we got older, whenever we connected it was like time had stood still and we were kids again. May his memory be a blessing.

Jason was The Best Dad to Taylor, Drew, and Reese and an amazing friend to countless friends who were blessed to know him. He was one of a kind-fiercely devoted, endlessly kind, and always there when you needed him. His love for family and friends knew no bounds-always going above and beyond. Our warm memories of him and his love, strength, and unwavering loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
