Jason Michael Van Duyn Sr., 41, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away August 29, 2025.

He was born at NAS Jax in Jacksonville Florida on August 14, 1984. Jason received an associate degree in engineering from SJRC and became a master welder. He was married to Bobbi Van Duyn on April 6, 2013.

Jason had a career as a mechanical engineer and held several engineering positions. He has a passion for fishing, hunting, working on cars, spending time with his wife, kids, family, and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Linda Van Duyn, and Raymond and Gloria Guyette.

Jason was survived by his loving wife Bobbi Van Duyn, children Ethan, Jason Jr, Isabella, Jeremiah, and Makennah, parents Joan "Liz" Chandler (Mike) and William Van Duyn, grandfather William Van Duyn, siblings Jessica Daly (Ryan), Jennifer Douglass (Dustin), Mike "Bunky" Chandler, mother and father in law Michele Cox and Bob Moon, sister and brother in laws Jessica and Scott Geil and many cousins , nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and many many friends.

To honor Jason services will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens on Saturday September 6, 2025. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the start of the service at 01:00 PM.

Liz, my heart breaks for you, I wish I could give you a hug and have a good cry. I am so incredibly sorry for the tragic loss of your beloved son, Jason. I know how much your family means to you. He was so incredibly lucky to have you as his mom. Sending so many hugs to you and your family.
