Jason Glen Willard, 49, passed away on March 13, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.

The family will have a memorial service at Emmanuel Church of the Lord Jesus at a later date.

Jason was born on July 7, 1976 in Batesville, Mississippi to Nina L. Connell and Jimmy G. Willard.

From an early age, Jason was known for his boundless energy and adventurous spirit. He was an exceptionally active child, always eager to explore the great outdoors and try new things.

Jason's passion for nature was evident in his love of fishing and hunting. He cherished the thrill of deer hunting and often reminisced about his coon hunting adventures in his youth. Over the years, Jason fished in a variety of beautiful places across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi, creating memories with friends and family that will be treasured forever.

Above all, Jason valued his family. He found true joy in their company, always putting loved ones first and making every gathering brighter. At home, he was the one to take charge of the yard work and could fix anything that needed attention. His hands were always busy, and his heart was always willing to help.

Jason's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He believed deeply in his Lord and Savior, living out his Christian values with quiet strength and unwavering devotion.

Jason Willard will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and his steadfast love for those around him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristin D. Willard of Sardis, MS; his son, Cameron Willard of Crenshaw, MS; his granddaughter, Ara Russell of Sardis; his brother, Aaron P. Willard of Batesville, MS; his mother, Nina L. Connell of Batesville; his father, Jimmy G. Willard (Shelia) of Water Valley, MS; his step-sister, Angela Barley of Water Valley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The staff at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is honored to serve the family during this challenging time. Condolences may be expressed online on his Tribute wall at www.colemanfuneralhomeox.com.
