Jasper James Owen Dwane Dougherty

Jasper James Owen Dwane Dougherty, 2, of Sidney, departed from this life on Friday, March 31, 2023 in his home with his loving family surrounding him.  Jasper was born on November 21, 2020, in Batesville to Zebidiah Montybill Gene Smith Dougherty and April Nicole Downs.

The family has fond memories of Jasper such as he would scoot himself off the bed every night, his form of communication was growling at you, he loved the cartoon, Bluey, and he finally was able to eat chocolate cake for the very 1st time which resulted in chocolate all over his face.  

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; Zeb and April, brothers, Auron and Valon Ash; sister, Charlie Dougherty; grandparents, Shannon Dougherty, Rick Smith, Eddie Downs, and Honda Passmore; aunts and uncles, Kim Downs and Micheal Beck, Panga Downs and Danny Elliott, Maxie Mead, Kym Dougherty and Chris Ortiz, Jhett and  Kenzie Dougherty, Ray Dougherty; cousins; and other family members.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Cave Creek Church of God in Batesville with Bro. Stephen Downs and Bro. Eric Downs officiating.  Burial will follow the service in the Barnett Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Micheal Beck, Danny Elloitt, Ray Dougherty, and Jhett Dougherty.

Visitation will began at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time at the church.
