It is with deep sorrow that we share that Jasvinder Paul Singh, affectionately known as Sonu, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2025, in New Jersey, at the age of 55.
Born on October 28, 1969, in Delhi, India, Jasvinder was the beloved son of Mahinder Paul Singh and Ajit Kaur Singh. He was a man of deep faith, integrity, and compassion. A devout Sikh, he lived his life guided by the principles of humility, service, and spiritual discipline. He found great peace in daily meditation and prayer, drawing strength from his spiritual practice and sharing that calm presence with all who knew him.
Sonu was a passionate traveler, always eager to explore the world and embrace its many cultures. Whether journeying to new destinations or simply enjoying time with loved ones, he approached life with curiosity, gratitude, and joy.
He was known for being smart, kind, and exceptionally generous with his time. Always humble, Sonu was quick to offer help to friends and family-quietly and wholeheartedly, never seeking praise or attention. He gave of himself with sincerity, warmth, and a deep sense of duty to those he loved.
Friends, family, and co-workers describe him as an amazing person with a passion for learning. He had an inquisitive mind and was always eager to grow, discover, and share his knowledge with others-especially when it came to technology, which he embraced with enthusiasm and curiosity throughout his life.
Professionally, Jasvinder served as the Vice President of AI Integrations at Merkle/Dentsu, where he was a loyal and valued employee for 15 years. He was also an active participant and supporter of Employee Resource Groups at his workplace.
Above all, Sonu's greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He had a remarkable gift for bringing people together, often gathering loved ones around a table filled with food, laughter, and celebration. His hospitality, warmth, and love for shared moments will be remembered as one of his most beautiful legacies.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kirandeep Singh; his two cherished daughters, Gurbani and Ajooni; his loving mother, Ajit Kaur Singh; and his devoted sisters, Sonia and Holly, along with their husbands and his brother-in-law Sandeep Singh, who were like brothers to him. He is also survived by his two aunts, three uncles, many loving cousins, and thirteen nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched deeply by his presence in their lives.
To his family, Jasvinder was a pillar of love, wisdom, and quiet strength. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know
He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
A wake, cremation, and kirtan will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at The Crematory at Holy Cross, located at 228 Cranbury-South River Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.
Immediately following, family and friends are also invited to join in prayers, for the beginning of Akhand Path, and for Langar at Guru Nanak Sikh Heritage, 29 Wyckoff Mills Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831.
Akhand Path Bhog, Kirtan and Antim Ardas, followed by Langar, will be held on Saturday, May 24th from 11am - 1pm.
