Javier Lizarde Herrera passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 72.
He was born on May 2, 1953, to his parents Eleno Lizardi and Simona Herrera. A native of Huanusco, Zacatecas, Mexico and a resident of Watsonville, California. He married the love of his life, Liduvina Lizarde.
Javier was an amazing father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a jokester with an amazing humor. He was blessed with a green thumb and was a fighter until the end. He was a humble person who loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife; his children Gabriel, Luis, Sandra, Oscar and Cristina; his 11 brothers/sisters; his 11 grandchildren Anthony, Nathan, Sophie, Xavier, Bailey, Keisha, Valerie, Michael, Isabel, Melissa, Moises and 1 great-grandchild Aeris.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 10 AM at Assumption Church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
