Jay Dee Goode

I first met Jay at the hospital. There was a language barrier between him and another nurse. I helped calm his nerves. We got to talking and realized we were neighbors 30+ years ago in another town. We talked a lot and laughed when he came to the hospital. He was definitely my favorite patient! He will be truly missed.

Jay was a good man in our community. He knew more about what was going on by visiting his neighbors and scoping out strangers. I came closer to Jay in his final months helping him find the correct medicine to treat his condition. Jay made sure I was able to spend time with friends during the holidays by offering for me to attend his families celebrations after my wife passed. A generous man in heart and soul. Jay was a great man. He loved his girls more than anything and he will be missed greatly.

I remember him as a fun loving guy who loved everyone equally.
