Jay Higa Obituary

Jay started his career in retail management at Liberty House, and continued with AT&T, Hawaiian Telcom, Macy's, and Long's, where he was still employed at the time of his death.
Jay was a devoted, caring and loving husband to Soon Young. He met his wife at the golf course, fell in love and married her in 1999. Golfing was his most enjoyable activity, and his other hobbies included fishing and bowling. He loved to sit on the lanai, feeding his bird family and enjoying his beer.
Jay will be remembered for his smile, patience, kindness and generosity. Throughout his illness, Jay never lost his positive attitude or sense of humor.
