Jay thank you for being my friend. I know that everyone who knew you feels like a part of them has been stolen. The words 'too soon' do not begin to do justice to the sense of loss your friends all feel. You will never be forgotten and your friendship and our great memories with you will be celebrated when ever your family from El Cid gets together. Love you buddy.

Jay was a great friend to me and a wonderful leader at Fruit of the Loom. I had the pleasure of serving under his father in Bowling Green and working closely with Jay over the years. I was in the HR department (under Tony Pelaski) in the Corporate Social Responsibility area as well as in Talent Development. Jay would always be very welcoming to me when coming to Summerville to train his employees, as well as the other facilities he oversaw with Russell and Vanity Fair. I often told him how blessed his was to have such great parents. I am now a Professor of Practice at Troy University in Alabama, teaching business courses. I often mention Jay's dad to my students as he was a dynamic leader and mentor to me over the last decade of my 37 year career with FOTL.
RIP my brother.

It is with saddened hearts that we learned of the passing of Jay. He will be remembered as a grand-nephew and a loveable member of our family. We were proud of both his and his father's accomplishments and the joys we had together while living in the upstate.
May the love and Grace of God sustain all family - members and friends of Jay as they go through this period of bereavement and the days that follow.
