Born in Cheverly, Maryland, on April 13, 1967, he was the son of the late Constance Mickley Poe.
He was a supervisor in the construction industry.
He attended Grace Reform United Church of Christ.
Jay is survived by his loving wife, Leah Nicholls Mickley; daughter, Gabrielle Crowe (Ron), of Mt. Savage, MD; son, Conner Mickley (Ashland), of Rochester, NY; seven grandchildren; sister, Gwayla Nelson Chase, of Pomfret, MD; and brother, Thomas Mickley, of Gerrardstown, WV.
The Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Ranson, WV, is assisting the family during this difficult time. Jay's commitment to his faith and family will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, 310 S. Fairfax Blvd., Ranson, WV 25438 to go toward Jay's Funeral Expenses.
