Port Saint Lucie - Jay H. Poggiali, Jr., 63, formerly of Hicksville, NY and longtime resident at the PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, passed away on November 7, 2024, in Port St. Lucie. He was the beloved son of the late Laurie and Jay H. Poggiali, Sr. As the eldest of four brothers, Jay was a steadfast source of support and guidance throughout his life. An avid and skilled golfer, Jay found great joy on the golf course, where he honed his talent and shared many memorable moments with friends and family. Beyond his passion for golf, he was a sharp and successful businessman whose dedication and acumen left a lasting impact. Jay is survived by his loving brothers, Gary (Victoria), Christopher (Denise), and Michael; his niece, Laurie (Patrick); his nephews, Nathan and Ryan; and his two great-nieces, Charlotte and Olivia. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, April 12, at 11:00 AM at Holy Rood Cemetery, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY 11590. A memorial service will follow at the Francis P. Devine Funeral Home, 293 South St., Oyster Bay, NY 11771, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Jay's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. May his legacy bring comfort to those who loved him.
