Jay Thrasher Obituary

Survived by her extraordinary husband, James Pratt Thrasher, her loving maltese, Ruby, mother, Tula Petros Carroll of Myrtle Beach, SC, and two sisters, Sherri Lynn Simmons (Alan) of N.C. and Catherine Hill Pauli (Scott) of Maine.

She is predeceased by her father James Thomas Harris of Pilot Mountain, NC.

Jay grew up spending her winters in Pilot Mountain, NC and her summers in Myrtle Beach.

She moved to Myrtle Beach permanently in 1973. She lived in Nashville, TN from 1987-2017 and moved back to Myrtle Beach in 2017. Jay's background was in property management.

She would like to thank Carroll Santos of Mount Pleasant, SC for being the best friend anyone could ever ask for. She always lived by the words from her father, "Always treat people the way you want people to treat you." Jay never met a stranger.

She spent her last days living on the beach with her soulmate and love of her life, husband Jim, and their beautiful maltese.
