Jayarama Krishnamurthy Obituary
A loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and a voice of reason in all the communities he was a part of, Prof JKM will be remembered fondly. A dedicated mathematician, he spent 42 years in his alma mater PGDAV College, Delhi retiring as its Principal. Hailing from a family of illustrious Carnatic musicians, he actively served the cause of music by organizing hundreds of concerts and especially encouraging young students of music. He also supported many causes for the needy through his time and his financial munificence.
Prof. JKM taught us one simple message: Enjoy what you do or do what you enjoy. But more than saying it, he lived it every day, every hour, every minute, and till his very last breath. He lived a full and contented life and had an Anayasa Maran (painless release from mortal coils) while chatting with his family members.
