Jayne passed away peacefully on Monday, May 7, 2012, in Atascadero, CA. Jayne was born in Washington DC, in August of 1940, to Stanley and Mary Frances Young. Jayne was born and raised on the east coast, and in 1966 moved to California with her 3 sons. They moved around Southern California and in 1972 settled in Santa Maria. For the past 33 years, Jayne worked in real estate in Santa Maria and San Diego, CA and Henderson, NV. She enjoyed traveling and vacationing to various areas with her friends and family. Jayne enjoyed many different cuisines but had a special love for any type of seafood. She found joy in animals and enjoyed her cat Cappy, along with her bird Buddy. She is survived by her son, Steve Hartman; son , Ken Hartman, daughter-in-law, Melinda, grandchildren, Garrett and McKenna; and son David Hartman. To the family and friends of:Jayne Ellen Boone. A private gathering of family and friends in remembrance of our loving Mother, JAYNE ELLEN BOONE, will take place at 9 AM on Thursday, May 17, 2012. The memorial service and scattering at sea ceremony will be performed by Rev. Terry zumMallen. There will be a 30 to 45 minute boat ride out to sea. Please arrive at the dock by 8:45 AM.
