Jazmyn Jeppson Obituary

Jazmyn June Jeppson
June 11, 1994 - Feb 1, 2016
Our beautiful daughter, Jazmyn was called back to her Heavenly Father due to a tragic car accident, February 1, 2016.
She was born June 11, 1994 in Bountiful Utah, the oldest daughter of John and Heather Jeppson. She recently returned from the Houston Texas Mission on December 16, 2015. She developed a strong passion for serving others on her mission.
Jazmyn was active, vivacious, and lived life to the fullest. It was said that she had a very infectious smile and a very happy positive approach to life. She had a love for the outdoors, photography and art. She graduated from Davis High in 2012. She attended BYU-Idaho and earned her associates degree before leaving on her mission June 2014.
Friends and family said she had a bright light in her eyes, she was the best of the best. She had a profound impact on everyone she met. She had phenomenal relationships that she cherished with many, both young and old.
Jazmyn will be deeply missed by her friends and family: parents, John and Heather, siblings Tyson (serving an LDS mission in Omaha NE), Kaleb and Jaden; Grandma June Howard, Grandpa and Grandma Dave and June Jeppson; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Glen Howard.
A viewing will be held at the LDS church, 1988 South 350 East Kaysville, Friday Feb. 5, from 6 to 8pm. Funeral service held at the same location, Saturday Feb. 6 at 11am.
We express our deep gratitude to the public authorities, Russon Brothers and countless friends and family who have shown amazing support. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Jazmyn Jeppson GoFundMe account or the LDS Church Mission Fund.
True to her nature, Jazmyn kept giving to the end by being an organ donor.

My daughter sent this to me this morning. Just thought you would be comforted by her words. So sorry for your loss. May the Lord bless you and your family.

As most of you may know my dear companion and one of my best friends
Jazmyn June Jeppson passed away this week in a tragic car accident.
Jazmyn was one of the best missionaries I have ever had the privilege
to serve with. She was very dedicated to the work and loved serving. I
owe a lot of the person and missionary I am today to Sister Jeppson. I
will always treasure the times we had together. It's really funny you
never expect 6 weeks with someone to impact your life so much but in 6
weeks Jazmyn became one of my best friends and I will forever be
grateful for our companionship. We made a huge impact in a lot of
people's lives and I swear us two could have taken on the world
together. I love and miss you Sister. Till we meet again.

I worked with Jazzy for two years at Ben Franklins. She was darling. I always knew it was going to be a good evening when Jazz worked. She impressed me with her sincere goodness. Most teenagers would complain about parents and siblings, she never did. She loved her family it was obvious. She was grateful that they were teaching her to be responsible. She loved the scriptures. I remember how excited she was when her picture was in the ensign. I loved Jazz, and she will be missed greatly. Carry on with your mission sweetheart

Brother and Sister Jeppson,

Jazmyn was in our Ward at BYU-Idaho just before she left on her Mission. As you know, she was a wonderful young lady. I am so sorry that her life was so tragically cut short. I pray that your knowledge of our Heavenly Fathers plan of Salvation and the comfort of the Holy Ghost will help your family through this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss.

From a member of the Cleveland, Ohio 1st Ward, Kirtland Stake.....Seeing the news of someone known by so many as so pure and loving and full of testimony of the Heavenly Father and Jesus, suffering such a tragic end, I pray that all of you she left behind who hurt and grieve, that you would be comforted in knowing that she has been called from this life to the Paradisical Kingdom of God!! I feel heavy and grieved myself that such a beautiful fellow saint had to endure this sudden end to life! May God send all of you a sign if it be His will, that she is forever happy, and is now awaiting those who will arrive later, and is enjoying the company of her ancestors in Paradise!!! May God love and bless you all!!! In Jesus Christ I say and pray this!! - Bro. M Yurik, Cleveland 1st Ward, Kirtland, Ohio Stake

Dear Brother and Sister Jeppson,

We don't know each other, but our daughters recently met as they returned home from the same mission. They stayed together for a day or two before they left the mission field. We were at the airport waiting for our daughter, Lindsay, as we witnessed the joyous reunion that happened between Jazmyn and Sister Jeppson. We watched as you, Sister Jeppson, stepped around the ropes and ran to your daughter and embraced her so lovingly. It seemed as though you might never let her go.

We want to express our sorrow for this tragic accident that has taken Jazmyn from you temporarily. While we don't know your family, you have been in our thoughts and prayers. May Heavenly Father bless your family with peace, comfort, and the knowledge that one day you will have another wonderful reunion with your beautiful daughter.

Sincerely,
Brad and Audrey Rupp
